Kanyakumari (Cape Comerin), the Land’s End of India, is a beautiful seaside town surrounded on three sides by three different seas – The Arabian Sea on the West, the Indian Ocean on the South and the Bay of Bengal on the East.
The Vivekananda Rock Memorial on which Swami Vivekananda meditated is one of the popular tourist attractions in Kanyakumari.
The confluence of these three places is also referred to as ‘Thriveni Sangamam’.Kanyakumari otherwise popularly known as Cape Comorin, is supposed to be a famous pilgrim centre.
